Birds of Arizona

Arizona is located along the migration route between Canada and Mexico, bringing a wide variety of birds to the state.  Southern Arizona is a birding hot spot.  Visitors from all over the world come to observe  birds at places like Ransey Canyon Preserves, where over 170 bird species can be found. 

Arizona is a great place for bird watchers, as their tourism department says,
"It's a bird-watcher's paradise."
